COMMUNITY WORK

Good evening,

Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team have been busy this week with various patrols throughout the town and surrounding areas.  We have visited vulnerable people in the community as well as being a visible presence engaging with local residents and visitors to our lovely town.  The start of the summer holidays for local students has got off to a good start, for some they will be heading off on holidays whilst others will be spending time keeping busy in out of school clubs and at home.  The local youth club is a fantastic place for children of different ages to spend time having fun taking part in activity days and having some time to themselves enjoying the facilities they have on offer.  We will be spending some time checking in with them over the next few weeks and having a chat about what our role as Community Officers entail and hopefully some will take an interest in joining the Police in the future!.

Today PCSO Bex Ashley and PCSO Lee Stirling were out in the engagement van and enjoyed speaking to lots of people in and around the area.  We finished our patrols at Abbey Park where the brass band was playing and it was lovely to see so many people having a great time, happy to report no issues at all!.  We were then joined by PC Kozaczynski and PCSO Doughty following their patrols of the more rural areas of Pershore.

We will be continuing our patrols this week and if you need to speak with us about anything concerning you please call 101, message us on here or email the team:  pershoretown.snt@westmercia.police.uk.  Alternatively you can report on line : westmercia.police.uk

Take care and enjoy the rest of the Summer Holidays…….
